Hardwood floors perfectly match the dark stained kitchen island and the decorative beams that run across the ceiling. These dark colors contrast well with the crisp white cabinets. We love finishing projects because then we get to share it with you! We just completed a custom home in Gardendale and our clients are in love. They are so excited to move into their dream home created by J. Wright Building Company, and we’re honored to hand over the keys on moving day!

This single-family home features a modern farmhouse exterior with white painted brick, custom wood accents and tin roof on the front porch and window awnings. Inside, we used dark hardwood floors and bright white trim and accents to create a unifying look throughout the first floor.

Alabama Custom Home Perfectly Combines Traditional and Farmhouse Features

We recently had the opportunity to create an Alabama custom home for the Harper family. This family dreamt of having an elegant, modern farmhouse-style home, so they called us at J. Wright Building Company to tackle the job. With a passion for building fine artisan homes, we were up for the challenge of creating a beautiful and unique place the Harpers could call home forever.

Situated on the river near a beautiful wooded area, we were excited to start building on such a beautiful location. We made sure to build the home in just the right place so that the back porch and master bedroom had excellent river views. The incredible scenery is the perfect backdrop for this house.
