This home is the Association’s way of showing members new design trends, products and services, while also demonstrating the benefits of hiring a licensed contractor and active member of the GBAHB. Introducing J. Wright Building Company

It takes courage to act, accept a risk and to try something new. After spending nine years as the vice president of a custom homebuilder based in McCalla, Alabama, Jeremy Wright determined that he had the resources, knowledge and experience to branch out on his own to found J. Wright Building Company.

Just as a new home is sturdier when the foundation is strong, a homebuilding business plan also is more stable when you develop it from the ground, up. Jeremy found his client base through relationships built with the local home builder association, the Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders (GBAHB), and the many other organizations he is a member of.

Birmingham has a rich construction history that includes local contractors who have survived numerous economic cycles, ever-changing technologies and building practices. When beginning J.
